  Qualification For Membership:
  • Any person who has completed 18 years of age shall be eligible for the membership of the society.
  • A registered Public Trust, Society, Company, Organization or Institution shall be eligible for such membership, provided such Public Trust, Society, Company, Organization or Institution gives an authorization to that effect through a resolution.

  Categories of Members:

  • Patron:

    A person contributing a sum not less than Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) one time and an application for such membership accepted by the District Board, Shall be admitted as Patron member.

  • Life:

    A Person contributing a sum not less than Rs.5,000/- (five thousand) one time and an application to that effect is accepted by the District Board, shall be admitted as Life member.

  • Regular:

    A person paying subscription of Rs. 1,000/- (one thousand) per annum and whose application to that effect is accepted by the District Board, shall be admitted as Regular member.

  • Sympathizer:

    A person contributing a sum not less than Rs.1000/- (one thousand only) one time, who sympathizes with aims and the objects of the society but not willing to participate in the activities of the society and whose application to that effect is accepted by the District Board, shall be admitted as Sympathizer member.

  Ceasation of Membership:

  A member shall cease to be a member of the society if:-

  • He is minor;
  • Has been convicted by criminal court of any offence involving moral  turpitude;
  • Is of unsound mind, and is so declared by a competent court;
  • Is an undischarged insolvent;
  • Is a paid servant of the society;
  • Is found to be guilty of misconduct by District Board, State Board or Governing Council of the society;
  • Has been expelled under the Rules and Regulations of the society.
  • His membership is not supported by resolution or authority in case of member-organisation.

  Membership Card:

  For identification purpose every member of the society shall be issued a specification Membership Card by the Managing Director or by any officer duly authorized by the Governing Council.

  Membership Register:
  • Governing Council shall keep or cause to be kept a register of membership in the specified manner as decided by the council.
  • Immediate after admission of membership in any category, the District Board shall forward a list of admitted members to State Board of Directors who in turn shall forward such list to Governing Council for maintain and updating membership register, by 5th of every month.

  Voter’s List:

  Governing Council shall provide a list of members of all categories from the membership register to the respective District Board for the purpose of election of District Board and such list shall be treated as voter’s list of respective District.

  Voting Right:

  Every member shall have Voting Right, except Sympathizer member, defaulter members and co-opted Directors.

•    

  Transfer of Membership:

  A member may transfer his membership to another unit of Red Swastik Society, on the relocation of his place of business or residence, subject to the approval of both the units.
